Rockshox Twistloc Alternatives?

Hi All,

Are there any alternatives other than the Rockshox twistloc for front and rear suspension dual lockout? Mine is not working great and sticks. Not a great system.

?? You sure the cables aren’t just dirty? 
I have a 3p twistloc and it works great. But if the adjuster head on the shock is dirty of the cables are dirty then it can be sticky which is not the twistloc fault.

 

PS: Should have asked you if its the Gen 1 Twistloc with the push button release or the Gen 2 which you twist in both directions to operate?

If Gen1 with the push button release, remove it asap, then burn it and make sure its dead when you're done. No chances of resurrection

Thanks for the reply - it’s a gen 1 version with the button. Yeh agree, not great at all! Taken the thing off and not using lockout

Id recommend the Gen 2 unit, it's super reliable. The Twistloc Ultimate is even better though but a touch pricey at nearly R3K

Both are available in 2P and 3P versions

The Ultimate unit fits better with dropper post levers
