Finally ! A thread that's conveyed the "human touch" more than others I've read of late. Well done rad006, and all the others that made a difference to this young mans life !!

 

Off-topic now rad006; since my move to the Cape I haven't caught sight of any feedback with your new "transmission". Did it work out for the Jock ?

Sean I never had a new "transmission" for the Jock it was all on my 3 gearsConfused The bike only went in last week to try again to fit something to work to give me more of a choice but they having problems with a chain tensioner nowShocked so Im still waiting.... Tour de Soweto will be my 1st ride with hopefully new gears

In short I rode the Jock 7km 10% gradient Hillclimb on my tricycle weighing 40kgs to raise money for Bernard Kaap who was hit by a car and needs money for his medical expenses. Hope that helps.... Oh and I got pedals out of the money raised to for my efforts
