MBR magazine - digital version

I just subscribed to the digital version of MBR (Mountain Bike Rider) for only about GBP 20 per year (www.mbr.co.uk). Much cheaper than paying R80 at CNA each month and getting an issue two months late.

 

I now get both MBR and MBA (Mountain Bike Action, even cheaper) in this way. It's cheaper than subscribing to Ride and Bicycling for a year, and much better content. Only downside is that you can't really read on the loo, unless you take your laptop with you or print out pages!

Forgot to mention that a subscriber can send 3 free digital copies of both MBA and MBR (every issue) to friends. So that means 4 people could pool together for one subscription, i.e., you'd pay only 25% of the annual subscription. An absolute bargain!

I normally just subscribe to the print version, which ends up costing pretty much the same anyways. Bike!

Print edition of MBR to South Africa is GBP 63. Rather pricy in comparison. Not too different to CNA prices.

Think my Bike sub cost less than that, could be wrong though. I don't mind much, prefer the print mags to online anyways.

What format is the magazine? If it's a PDF, what stops you from sending it to 100 people?

Not a pdf. You use Zinio software, which is free, and very user friendly. So you can't just pass it on to all.
