I have two sets of wheels I use on my bike. On my Vista SL's which I use for training I have Conti Gatorskins 700X23C which are superb although a bit on the heavy side.

I am looking to put some Continental Grand Prix's 700x20C on my semi racing wheels Easton EA90 Aero's which comes also in a bit lighter than the Gatorskins.

Will the narrower profile of the 700X20C Grand Prix have a negative impact on my riding experience in any way and does someone else which race on these have any feedback on them as a racing tyre?

you will be a bit shocked when looking down at them for a while but when you go back to your gatorskins it will feel like you on a mountain bike tyre thats the only difference i have when going from my track bike to my road bike smiley1.gif

advantage would be less rolling resistance with them being thinner but really the only difference i find is the fright i get when going back onto the thin tyres after not riding them for a while

I got them on my wife's track bike. Very hard tyres, if that makes sense. Not allot of cushioning. You'll probably find the ride a little harder.
