accident?

just got a message from a (non-cycling) buddy of mine:

"A guy in the office was showing me an announcement from the (edenvale) Peddlers of an accident.

I haven't got all the details (he did a shift delete), but they were riding in a group and some woman turned in front. Dina Matiz? (sorry - not sure of the name either) was seriously injured.

I'm still trying to get the details, but I'm hoping that you know someone there."

Does anyone know anything about this???

Not cool. Hope the info about serious injury is incorrect.
