Bike Commuting Tips

I think you guys have over thought this.

Why do you need a change of clothes? My gardener has been coming to work' date=' on his bike, in his work kit for years.

All you need is an elastic to keep the chain and your pants leg separate and you are done!!!

If it's raining use a second elastic to fasten an umbrella (ella ella) to your handlebars, right next to the cycle comp usually works well.

Try it, it will work. (Take photos)

No need to complicate the issue.

i used a washing peg to keep the chain from chowing my trousers when i cycled to school back in the day.

anyway.. my tips:

keep a set of toiletries at work.

leave shoes at work. (& extra pair of undies, socks.)

i use a "normal" towel. tried the chamois towel and it was crap.

smile (laugh) at people as they sit in traffic.

My advice is , don't commute with a bicycle or motorbike in this country.

Not worth losing your life....it's not if but when.... (someone in car/ taxi wont see you.
