I currently own a RC3000 with tiagra groupset and was looking into just buying a RC8000 frame. And i was wondering if all my current components would fit onto the frame?

I would imagine that the front derailer on the rc3000 was a braze on so then there should be no problem in swopping the parts.

I swopped my componants from a trek 1000 to trek 2000 and the front derailer had to be changed and i had to buy new handle bars coz the new frame came with an over sized stem

There is a picture of an RC8000 under "classified" and it looks as if it has a clamp on front derailure. I've also checked a 2006 RC7000 and 2005 RC6000 and they all have clamp on types.

So, you shouldn't have any problem at all as I'm sure the RC3000 also has clamp on.

The tube diameters may differ though. At worst, you will have to buy a new front derailure and they don't seem to be too expensive.
