GoLefty!! Posted November 29, 2006 Share Pre 2004 Impact cleats are not compatible with the RXS/E Time pedals. This has nothing to do with the engagement but because the older cleats uses a hard plastic that very abrasive to the new plastic bodied Times. The New cleats will work on the older Impacts as has been said by all above. Soif you have the Impact cleats with the RED plastic base it advised by Time Sport not to use these with the newer pedals.
