Jules Posted September 30, 2008 Share the only thing i've noticed about this fork is that it doesn't "load" nicely before a jump. It does soak up bumps though. Speed Devil Posted September 30, 2008 Share BG, I also have a Silverback Phoenix and haven't had any problems up to now.If you are on good terms with your LBS then ask them if they will change the rear derrailler and fork with a better spec and then you just pay in the difference on the upgrade. If you do that before you take the bike out the shop it will be cheaper than waiting a few months and then changing the components and paying the price on loose bits.I done that when I bought my MTB....I was actually advised by my LBS to do it as I would then have a better spec bike from the start.
