I am looking for a replacement hub for my American Classic (quiet MariusStern%20Smile) back wheel.  Any 24 spoke, light weight, durable, maintenance free, reliable hub will do.Any suggestions?

If I decide to get a power tab, do I put it on my training wheel or my racing wheel?

A bit of the topic...After braking spokes on a regular basis I've found that there were a factory defect on my front AC hub. Cape Cycles replaced it...Problem sorted!

So I dont know whats wrong with your Hub, but give these guys a call.

They rebuild the hub three times alreadyConfused

The cones gets lose and the result is damage to the bearings and the wheel has a lateral movement. It moves from side to side

24 hubs....

Hmmm probably Hope or Velomax will have these as replacement items but getting hold of them could be tricky.

Powertap is deinately way to go and I'd say build into racing wheels and train on them. What the heck are training wheels anyway??

erhhmmm,..

I believe that Velomax has been taken over by Easton so look for an Easton hub which may need to be a special order as they usually come as wheelsets.

not quite sunshince. Easton buys Velomax products and puts their own stickers on it under license...

You obviously need to have it on your training wheels if you are going to be following a program BUT your race data is VITAL to your training program so you have 2 choices.

Go the bruce & bikemax route and get a pt hub for each set or go the windbreaker (cheapskate) route and forfeit the racing wheels.
