Sammajoor Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008  400 or what?? get water paper ie, a sandpaper that you have to wet for it to work properly, 400 grit sounds a little rough. I would start with a 600 grit and sand the frame bit by bit.  when finished go to a 800 grit and repeat the whole episode then spray. or you could further smooth it by going for a 1200 grit to get it super smooth. Keep the sandpaper wet and should work a charmÂ

Same as 1200 but where 1200 takes alot of sanding on a coarse surface and goes blunt quickly use the 600 with soap. it cuts faster and smoother. When flatting the surface after it has been clearcoated and needs to be polished use 1500 and Sunlight liquid soapy waterÂ
