Hi all, your opinion on wheels, which are the better of the 2, Rolf or Easton Ascent 2, I beleive Rolf have problems with the bearings every time it rains?

When i was doing research for new wheels, the Eastons were on my short list. I went for the Zipps, but from what i saw the Eastons are great wheels. The hubs are awesome, and with the spokes threaded into the hub the wheel is very stiff, and stays true for longer.

In fact im going to buy myself a pair of the Easton MTB wheels in the very near furure. Same technology and very well priced.

 

As for the Rolfs I cannot comment. I have hever tried them. The Eastons / Ksyriums / DT Swiss etc out performed them in all the reviews i read.

I have a set of Rolf Vector Pro's.  Broke the hub on my back wheel.  Still think it's the best wheels I've ever used.

 

I have had no trouble with my Rolf's I stole from my mothers bike and it was kinda wet. (She has the Rolf Vectors bottoms)

 

I haven't tried the others except Shimano.  Don't like the shimano's.

have a set of easton circuits - great wheels - had them about 8 months now & ride them almost every day & they are still true.

I agree with Zaskar, I meant
