I want to get a nice MTB hardtail, something that's light and fast, and I can use to race with.

I'm looking at a felt Q920 frame and then I'm gonna rebuild my soft tail components on the frame

    rock shox reba race

sram X9 RD; XT FD + Cranks

    juicy & brakes

but I cant see on felt's website where the Q series fits in (what was it designed for?)

what do you guys think?

anyone got some advice please??

Not really. The geometry of the q920 is pretty much the same as the racing HT RXC's. But were the RXC's is built with 7000 series alluminium the Q920 is built with 6061.  The RXC's also got carbon stay's.  So the frame is a little on the heavy side. It will make a nice racing bike, but dont overspend on the frame. Whats the price of the frame?

It looks like a lekker bike! I would get it if I had the cash! I'm gonna get the Q720 (2008). Would you be interested in selling me the Q920 fork if you gonna upgrade? I can't afford the Q920 and REALLY can't afford the 2009 model.

As a standard off the floor bike it comes with a high rise stem and riser bars. If you fit a low rise stem and flat bars you should have a nice racing rig. Just make sure about the size.

I have a ritchey pro stem that came with my Raleigh Marathon 8 and

a carbon flat bar.. will that do?

I'm about 1.74 and the frame is a 19.5"

so if you're interested I can give you the guys details and you can talk?
