And another lady was taken out by an ostrich yesterday about 500m from the finish. Think she was taken away in an ambulance.

 

Any news on her too?

jeez, ianj, what happened to her? did it run into her? must say, my youngest son was a little spooked riding through that herd of horses and the ostriches near the end on saturday.

they looked menacing! i had a close-ish encounter with them when i took one of jean-luc's bikes out for a test.

It charged at me but a very loud and sh*t scared Voertsek the thing went past me down the track and it collided with the lady on one of the turns .It happend just after the big hump
