Rather put that down to disorganised TV commentary preparation. A start list with all rider names and race numbers should be a basic requirement for TV commentators. Myra Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 The commentators were not great - Johnnie Koen called David Garett John O'Connor! They obviously didn't have start lists. But I'm not complaining! It was great that the race was televised, and live too! My brother was shown a lot and it was just so exciting to watch him - was sitting on the edge of the couch! Hope SABC can cover more races like this live.
