yup, must agree with you, it hurts. Falling in Rosebank during winter when the engen morning ride went over black ice was aweful. my first fall on the road bike, felt as if my leg was torn off. The scratched to the bike and my specialised shoes made it feel worse too. After that it took  quite some time to lose the fear of falling again.

falling on a mtb is better, you almost expect it to happen.

Tough break there Turtlek.

My cousin,  Barry the comedian, was right when he said you okes from Kepmton are tough.

Did you seriously pay two-and-a-half gorillas for a pair of shoes you can't even walk in?

Helluva marketing campaign they pulled on you.

SLave yes i did pay 2.5gorillas for my shoes but they were no marketing ploy they were just pretty and i liked the fact that they can mould to your feet via thermo moulding in your oven and they were a 1 gorilla cheaper than the Sh!Tmano ones so i thought it was a bargain!!!!!! (they are now my training shoes

Thumbs%20Up

Hit the tar sliding last Friday with our first Gauteng rain shower - pedestrian ran in front of me as I took the corner - little bike damage & I'm bruised - no skin off fortunately --

Thing is with this is that there was a lot of people around & no - one (not that they must/shud) would actually help you. So it is I guess !!

Pedestrain's still running I guess !!!

Turtlek. Now I am foncused. (Not to worry, this is pretty much a permanent state with me and it is very easy to foncuse me.)

You put your 2.5 g shoes on, and then you put them in the oven.Confused

I think I'm going back to running. It's safer.

no no no hahahaha before putting them on you put them in oven so they nice and toastie (not burnt) then after a few minutes without burning your feet you put them on your feet nicely and tighten up then you walk on carpets for a while (half an hour) then you are good to go without any foot pain or hot spots!!!!

They come out of the oven, and then they have no hot-spots?Confused

Not surprised, the whole dam shoe will be one big hot-spot dude. And then after that heat, nothing will seem like pain any more.LOL

I told ya, running is safer.
