Hey guys what would you recommend for my mtb when it comes to flat handlebars, stem and seatpost? Please keep in mind that my raleigh was cheapish, so no comments on R1000 carbon seatposts pleaseBig%20smile I was thinking along the lines of BBB stuff, but lightish hopefully.

see if yo ucan get your hands on some alu Ritchey WCS stuff. I would not bother with carbon as you would need to spend a small fortune to get it lighter and stronger then its alu counterpart. If you want the best parts but not neccessarly the lightest, go Thomson. They don't make bars though.

@Keith:  First thing I would do is figure out what all your parts weigh, either with a scale (a bit inconvenient if the bike's built-up) or on this database:  http://weightweenies.starbike.com/listings.php  then look at what's lighter and how much they are.  I speak from experience, having recently built up a lightweight XC bike, when I say it gets DAMN expensive to keep shaving weight off components.  With that said, it's fun/addictive and I wish you luck finding the best parts.Thumbs%20Up
