Best?  What is best? Cheapest? Easiest? Larniest?

Best: Stans Tubeless Conversion Rim tape with OKO sealant and any tyre other than the crappy ones listed on my website somewhere. The Stan's rim strip is soft, flexible and re-usable, if expensive. The Stan's strip also doesn't work well on mega wide rims such as ZTR Flow. It simply doesn't reach both sides, being too narrow.

Cheapest: A 20 inch BMX tube gently filleted along its outer spine and used as a rim strip. Fill the tyre with home made snot comprising carpet latex, Scrubbs ammonia and some sawdust. Disadvantage is that the sealant tends to dry out in about two or three months and forms a hard golf ball inside your tyre. Also, once you've trimmed the excessive flaps off the tube after installation, it is difficult to re-position it again for use a second time. With a bit of fiddling you'll get it right but for R20, most people will just use a new tube.

Larniest? Some fancy pansy tubeless wheel with zircon spokes, converted with a fancy kit that comes in its own presentation box, complete with team green rim strips, a removable tubeless valve and some team green sealant. Best done with a real UST tubeless (read heavy and impossible to remove without skinning your knuckles and ruining four tyre levers).

I kid you not, the latter is available. Saw it with my own eyes.

My vote is for the cheapest option, it has a nice utilitarian ring to it.
