butafly Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Sky News decribed it as "the biggest cycling tour in Africa" in one of the weekend newcasts. i must say watching last years tour i was amazed at the amount of spectators along parts of the route, the intensity of the race (thats what comes across on tv), the heat, the very rustic settings at the finish, the two extremes of equipment used - some oboslete and some top end of the range.
