She is sh*t scared she will fall and open up the wound again. Stitches came out this week though. her elbows have taken some punishment since she started riding with us. Why is it that ladies tend to fall with their elbows out?

most of the girls i know tend to fall on their heads. i doubt she'd be in too much danger of falling as the route isn't technical, but shame, man, i hope she heals up and manages to join us on a hub ride.

she can ride with my fiance who will be riding her first outride and is generally scared on her MTB. (but getting better). They can have a slow safe ride together.

To rehash what was discussed last night (some pages back)... there will be coffee to drink when you arrive and a cold drink when we're finished riding.

 

There are ablution facilities (work in progress but useable) if you want to have a shower after your ride

 

after some insistence from some of the guys the following was decided:

However, if you guys are keen on the idea of a ?contribution? then here?s the deal:

For a R20 contribution I will ensure that there is coffee before the ride as well as an ice cold drink upon our return

I won?t ask anyone for money. If you feel the urge to make a contribution, then you?ll find a box on the coffee table that you can put your donation into.

I will use whatever is collected to cover some expenses and any surplus will be donated to a local charity in the Hekpoort area."
