I saw a Juicy Bleed kit at the shop the other day for almost R300. It

seems a bit much for a couple of syringes with jobbies on the ends. Is

there any alternative? I know with some other brands it's possible to

use a normal syringe with a bit of hose, but it looks like the Juicys

have quite a specific little bleed port.

Anyone got a Juicy bleed kit they're not using and want to get rid of?

Syringe at Dischem - R3-23.

Piece of transparent fish tank pipe from Mica - R7-50 per meter.  You only need 100mm of the stuff, ask for a "sample".

Don't need no jobbies at the end. Buy two syringes. One for you, one for your girlfriend with one at the top, sucking up the excess fluid as you inject it from the bottom.

Don't forget to loosen the brake clamp and level the reservoir for the operation.

Happy bleeding.

I agree, syringes and surgical tubing is cheap, as for not needing the "jobbies" at the end, now that is questionable.

Not all shortcuts work.

Avid brake levers also don't need leveling, provided the proper fittings get used.
