Here's one of those impossible to answer questions...

 

I've had Bontrager revolts on my bike - loved them in terms of rolling resistance and for hard pack.  Cursed them like you can't believe in mud - mud sticks to them like... erm anyway.   They're also not too robust.  A couple of rides near Pilgrims Rest had them looking slashed and torn, just like Amy Winehouse.

 

Had pretty much decided to replace them with Conti Mountain Kings (if I could persuade myself to afford them), but there seems to be no stock in the country. 

 

So, other options?

Conti Explorers - is there any stock?

Bontrager Jones - never liked the look of them, but my riding buddy used to free wheel down hill faster than me on them, and also didn't have the same problems in mud.

Maxxis Crossmark - robust, fast, but not great cornering?

 

What do the peeps say?
