Last Sunday they left just after seven so it looks like it's still the official time.

Since it's winter' date=' Kid and I have arranged to meet and leave at 8 this weekend, Go for a long run around circus farm. Anyone interested in joining us for the later long loop, please let us know. I need the distance and I need to do some intervals so it will be great if we have a few more riders join the later (Slightly warmer circuit.)

Is this correct kid?

I thought we had agreed for next weekend 13/14 June ??

This Sat my youngest is paly a soccer tournament at his school.

The on Sunday the weather man is predicting rain ??

What does your weather man say Slave ???

Trubie, we already know how confussed you are so it's no surprise that you don't know the difference between the morning (AM) and the afternoon (PM) and a rookie cyclists (Nuwbie) like me and a semi-pro cyclist (Trubie) like you.

I'm going to have a chat with your kids so they can help you.

Do you know which is your LEFT hand and which is your RIGHT hand ?

For sure, the army taught me that, the left hand goes forward with the right foot, and the right hand goes forward with the left foot, but then some dudes go forward with left hand and left foot at same time, so it confused me even more, so I then decided that the only way I will be absolutely sure I am not getting it wrong is by remembering which hand pulls the front brake of the bike, then I got a bike where it was other way round so was confused all over again.

now I get it right by whichever foot gets out of bed first, and that is the left one, easy stuff, you just need to apply your mind!!

Trubes, we all know it's just the kids way of sharing the lurve man.

So where did you see me?

Thanks for not hooting else I would have had to go home, shower, change and wash the bike.smiley36.gif

If it was somewhere on Swartkoppies I was still fresh and fast. After Bellairs, I was pretty much slowing down to that survival struggle.smiley18.gif

I'll have to check out the weather for Saturday and let you know what "my weatherman"says. If it rains' date=' I am deep in it. Too many short rides due to limited time 'cause it gets dark so early.

Play nice with Trubie. I recall he's big and if he has a swing at you, I'm going to exercise some speed intervals and run ride like h3ll, lest you try to hide behind me.smiley18.gif

Kid, you too will get old like us. Maybe, by then we will have forgotten these comments of yours. IF we do remember them, we will be able to return the favour.smiley5.gif

Hey Delgadosmiley4.gif Nice to see ya again.

What time are you going to ride out of the car park?

If I don't get enough takers for the ride I'm trying to get together' date=' I will hook up with you if you can stand the company.

Er, Trubes, dude. You saw me yesterday AM? Dude, I'm too lazy to ride in the am in the week. Must have been someone else or you saw me in the PM.

Kid (FOFLMFAO). Yeah, trubes will pretty much have trouble on my "oil slick" but the thing is, I only have to outride you and adreneline can do great things for acceleration.

Lunch sounds interesting. We do breakfat runs in Summer and lunch runs in Winter? What's on your mind, another "berg bus" for lunch?

@ Trubie. So then I was climbing that steep little section of Michelle between the Active Virgin and Steers? Tough little nut cracker that one. My pace there is usually pedestrian dude. 20 k's an hour isn't fast up there but the best I can seem to get.

After that, it's pretty much slow going especially up Bellairs.

Ok Trubes. If you say so. Guilty as charged.

Kid,my weatherman says this :

Saturday Day

Those gusts at 46 worry me major league, especially when you have trucks and other moderate to large size vehicles come past you.

Maybe I should head for the reserve.

Sunday looks better.

Colder, but not so windy.

Eish, foncusion reigns now. What to do. Ahh what the heck. Ride SAturday. Long loop with fast guys if I can keep up, the wind will be a good training partner anyway when I get dropped.

Sunday, pretty much the same, but maybe a little longer. Go through Henley and past SBR entrance and back home.

Slave buddy if Trubie takes a swing and you close you have a better chance of being hit than me, I don't think Trubie can reach so low to hit me but I do like your idea of me hiding behind you smiley2.gifsmiley2.gifsmiley2.gif.

To be honest I was thinking more along the lines of, drive to the restaurant/pub have lunch, talk a lot of crap have a good few laughs and then drive back home. Besides Trubie doesn't ride with us anymore smiley17.gifsmiley17.gif

Alternatively we can do a couple of km then have a brunch. Doubt I'm in shape to ride to Heidelberg and the wind, eish I can drive there smiley36.gifsmiley36.gifsmiley36.gif

Kid,there are closer places to have a pub lunch. ' sides, pub lunches normally include a quiet gallong of beer, so it's best to have those very close to home to limt the driving afterwards.

Now riding on va uvva hand Kid, you can't drink ennyfing alkohollic.

Honestly, I don't know what all the fuss is about 'cause I can't even walk and chew bubble gum at the same time. Drinking and driving must be near impossible.

Where is a good local spot to do a pub lunch?

Maybe we should just have a meat cremation ceremony over a weekend. Less driving after a quiet gallon of beer.
