It is not about the tarts... it is about the cup cakes!

smiley36.gif Funny post Ox.

It depends on if we are talking savoury tart or sweet cup cakes. Sometimes savoury is best when topped off with a "soetproppie."

Did some secret training last night, with secret being nobody saw me doing it smiley1.gif

Have to say it was hard work, and the body is somewhat achy this morning smiley6.gif

Would love to know how accurate the power readings on the Elite Crono In-Out are...

Well Ox, your a way more dedicated man than I am!

The weather outside is so miserable that even thinking about cycling is making me cold!

But hey...if your training on the sly, then Kudo's to you bud!

I'm sure the power readings are pretty accurate...which if I read between the lines means your pushing out some major power huh?!

No... no major power!!!

The session contained two long intervals ... each 12 minutes, tried to keep the candence for them @ 110rpm, only managed abt 105 though (especially 2nd one)

Somebody once told me that Lance Armstrong's (avg) cadence is 110rpm so if you are already doing 105rpm then Lance better watch out.

Don't know how accurate the gossip was that I got told but Ox for your sake it's 100% true.

Eish Trubie already doesn't ride with me cause I'm too slow, Slave prefers to torture his body than to ride with me and now Ox is almost at Lance's pace, I'll have to ride with Mona smiley19.gifsmiley19.gifsmiley19.gif

Candence does not equate to pace!

I heard a rumour that Lance uses a 56 front chainring?smiley3.gif I'm not even using the 52!smiley19.gif Reckon you will kick my behind anytime you chooses tosmiley9.gif

What's a few extra teeth between you and Lance ? Nothing I hear you say, EXACTLY!!!!

I can kick your behind anytime you just name the place, 1 rule you aren't aloud to kick back.

Heard you got your visa sorted out for a trip down south this weekend ?

Some advise, bring your skiing outfit or contact Trubie, maybe he'll borrow you his.

Trubie, where were you this morning ??

I never saw you.

Trubie is out of our league now Kid.

Way too fast for the like of us. And he gets up to ride at 05h00 when I am still fast asleep. On weekends, he is coaching Mrs. Trubue and giving her the finer points of cycling.

I do prefer to torture my body? How? Riding in the reserve is way cool. Hectic hills, no traffic and some very cool sights to see. That's not torture, it's a very pleasant distraction from the pain.

Ever heard a Zebra FOFLIFAO? Just listen to it after I battle my way past one up one of those hills that never seem to end.

Slave you will not believe the amount of animals we saw on Sunday.....even had a Blesbok gallop across the road 10m in front of us on the back road past the dam......and we never saw any other cyclists the whole loop....!

Damn' date=' and I missed that![img']https://assets.bikehub.co.za/legacy_images/smilies/smiley7.gif[/img]

I am planning to ride the SBRNR again next weekend 20th or 21st June 2009. Which date are you likely to be there?

I would probably like to do it this weekend, but have commitments with Agteros to do the Lido / Walkerville / Circus loop and I have the Fountains race on Tuesday, so probably best I leave it for a week.

Can I join you for a ride next weekend? Andy wants to join in that ride as well. You guys cool with that one?

Who else will ride?

I should manage a bit better now that I have some experience about what's coming up next. Think it would be a good time to check out how a 39 blade will work instead of my 42.

So, Slave it seems your a convert when it comes to the reserve?

Now all we need to do is get the Indigo Kid there, as well as Ox and your Teeny! Then we can have our own little cadre of climbers in the SBR!

Pick a weekend when I can go cycling (not those of 20/6 kids birthday party, 27/6 - WWRR  nor 5/7 10km run, nor 12/7 July - MTB duathlon) and I might join smiley4.gif Major road races will get preference in the next few months as well

GO2 remember, I do not have that 50 crank any more so I'll have to try and spin a triplesmiley3.gif 30/42/52 smiley36.gif
