Oh cr@p, I type Colnago (Actually not since there was a typo) instead of Bianchi. (No, wait, that's also an Ite bike.)

Wise bird, only thing wrong with my Colnago is it's not on the road yet. I am almost thinking that her maiden voyage should be in the reserve.

Got to crack me a sub 2hr 30.

Hey Slavey you starting to play with fire now, it maybe all the beer you drank at Riervlei over the weekend but I think it's best you keep quiet now (and take your feet out of your mouth).

Can I offer you some advise don't take any bike to the reserve for it's 1st ride, if ou have a problem it's going to be a long walk.

Do a few rides around area first.

Dude, I build 'em good. Would not take it to the reserve untested but then again, testing it on a short ride around the hood is not exactly a decent road test.

I hear ya. If it falls apart then it is a long walk to freedom (now where have I heard that before?) but I don't expect it to fall apart. Only thing as yet untested is all my stuff on the frame.

At least Ite bike are like better than some of those american ones and definitely better than those fong kong jobs one buys at Game / Dion / Makro. Gotta be better than something.

Delgado looked at the Colnago on the weekend and he says "go for it!" Even offered to help me build it properly. Good man that Delboy. Drinks good beer and ride good bikes.

So like listen now young man. For why you bought this Ite bike of yours? Sure didn't help you climb the steps on Saturday.

Bwaaaaaaahahahahahahaha.

Am I burning my fingers yet?

I only had two beers. Not two cases. SBR I should be doing sometime next year. Unless I get really adventurous and decide to wander in there with my hybrid and a pair of binocs and bird book.

Maybe your ide has some merit. I'll sleep over there for the night Xms eve.

X-mas eve I'll be close to some forgotten town in Mpumalanga... so... no SBR for me this year... gotta do a few flat & fast rides before the fast one smiley2.gif

Oxman, we can do the loop to your hearts delight anytime soon. Business is winding down rapidly and I may inly be in the office another two or thre days this week.

Thereafter, I plan to make it my mission to do my 1000 km for the month. So I may doing short fast loops aplenty. We can practice that Fast one route we did on Saturday too if you want.

slave, we doing the short fast loop on Saturday morning?

I may do it again before and after. Depends on how close I get to my target.

So far this month I will be on 247 by the time I get home. May decide to take a slightly longer, less scenic route home today. (Yip, commuted.)

I left @ 06h50 on Sunday when I managed to be late amd miss the bunch. I can usually do the trip in around 16 mnites 30 bit that is quite a push. 20 minute is a doddle but yeah we leave at 06h35 to be there on time.

Notwithstanding that Mrs. Slave has an agenda for me for Saturday AM. I will assure her that I I will be back in sufficient time to attend to the domestic stuff.

I know that I will have temporary ear ache but such is life.

Can meet you opposite the Rietvlei entrance? I can leave from there @ 6:50 to get to Xumbugs?

We can do that too. I will have to motor home and get ready to do the husbandly things I have committed to for the coming weekend. Will ride around past Ritvlei with ya and it will give me a nice 60km.
