Andyr249 Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Kid, Kieran is a student. Students are meant to be broke and have little money for jols. Kieran, go to the bar at Vorendag, possibly the cheapest beer on campus!
Ha Ha Kieran Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Ha ha ha! Even that is out the budget now with my bike going on diet! She's already lost 1kg Now the student funds are being directed towards a Red Grouppo! Beer is not an option!
Cyclewizz Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Slave, you getting fat and to compensate that you want to get a lighter bike thinking that it will make you faster ???What you actually saying is that if had to climb onto the Colnago today and go do the 94.7 you'd take longer than last month Kieran is no longer a student, he's now a cyclist and can't afford to get onto the bike with a hang over. He's also hanging around with some ou toppies.
Slave Posted December 2, 2009 Author Posted December 2, 2009 Kid, kid, kid, only thing that is fat around here is the smack you are going to stop anytime soon. It would take me several days longer to do the 94.7 if I had to jump on it now and try to do the 94.7 route on it. That salient fact has nothing to do with my new found portliness. The frikking bike has nor wheels and no cranks. Dude, I think you better start riding our Saturday route on Friday night. Just so you have a big enough starton me becuase I may hurt you if I catch up to you. Fat! Humph. You'll have a fat ear soon enough. (Grumble, grumble, rhubarb)
Ha Ha Kieran Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Ha ha ha! Slave you only need one crank wheels may be an issue though

Ha Ha Kieran Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Replaced my wheels with 420 American Classics and got FSA K-Wing carbon flat bars
Ha Ha Kieran Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Slave are you still looking for handlebars?
Slave Posted December 2, 2009 Author Posted December 2, 2009 You have some that are looking or a good loving home? What group do you have now. You said you saving up for Red. Can only be SRAM
Ha Ha Kieran Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Is only SRAM! I'm going to drop off a set off brake calipers for you on Sat midday after our ride for Tyx1 I do indeed The 6000 series light Aluminium ones that came off my bike Got a few scratches from the stem but other than that they're flawless
NotSoBigBen Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Ha ha ha! Slave you only need one crank wheels may be an issue though Slave' date=' my friend, I would suggest distancing yourself from these roadie wierdo's and rather joining us on the dirt. I have never heard MTBr's say something like 'you only need one crank' [img']https://assets.bikehub.co.za/legacy_images/smilies/smiley5.gif[/img]

Ha Ha Kieran Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Ha ha BB. Bit of an inside joke. We were riding out to SBR and one of my crank bolts came loose. Needless to say a peddled to Slaves place with one crank
NotSoBigBen Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 LOL - OK would have loved to have seen that one legged pedalling action!
Slave Posted December 2, 2009 Author Posted December 2, 2009 BB, thanks for the invite dude. What makes you think I am any "more sane" than this bunch of thieves, renegades and hooglians?Kieran lost one of his crank bolts a while back en route to his rendezvous with us for our ride to and in SBR. He looked quite comical riding with one crank. Lucky for him, I had a spare bolt and was able to fit it for him. To be honest bud, I think you dirt riders are more crazy than the Romans I hang around with. But like that's just my crazy opinion for all it's worth. Maybe 5 zim dollars.
Cyclewizz Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Hey BB, that road bike of yours is crying out to be used again best you come join us for a ride soon. Kieran, don't tell the fat wheel guys your secrects!!!
