Don?t feel so bad, at least you will recover in time for some good preparation for the start of the next season and post a sub 3 for 94.7?smiley32.gif

SBR is Suikerbosrand 56ish km of wind and hills

Cannot understand why Andy is so in love with the place.

Think he is a real masochist!

Well look what happened at Berge en Dale. First few hundred metres and you off the back. You need more hill training!

Why you do a personal attack now?

I can think what I want' date=' can' I? And freedom of expression is enshrined in the constitution... I merely stated what I think, reflected on my thoughts, not made an attack on you...

For me a road bike and rider combo of 90kg+ makes not for a light weight climber you know! Aslo, I was mis-seeded for Berge en Dale... Should have been B not A (A is not for Agteros[img']https://assets.bikehub.co.za/legacy_images/smilies/smiley36.gif[/img])

I also never had any intention of staying with the A bunch, was hoping that I make the right turn out of Robert Broome before B caught up with me... Which I fortunately did. Amazing stuff if you take into account how little training I've done in the preceeding 3 months smiley5.gif

Jan= ~110km (pre Berge en Dale)

Dec= ~240km

Nov= ~95km (94.7 of 6:22smiley36.gif) - think I made the top 16000!smiley8.gif

Think I ran about 10km (OK, maybe 15!) during those same 3 months, and I also picked up about 5kg during those same 3 months smiley2.gif

Alan, introduce yourself to us. I'll most probably be in a Portuguese flag or barloworld kit. Kid most probably have a vest on weather permitting not sure if the others are riding tomorrow?

Os what happened to joining us on Saturday? I'm riding on Sunday but going short.

GO i hear you moving in on Monday finally know where your office is (I think) Quiet a snazzy place got there.

Predictor been rather quiet, hows the IM training going???

Those northers, Mandy, Nancy when you coming down south again, and no SBR is not south its the deep south. (Kid leave my direction alone, i know we more East!)

Ja, you can have freedom of expression but why go so far as to put a false lable on me?

You talk such rubbish sometimes. What about all your MTB rides? Weren't you focussing on MTB and not road?

Humming Bird, you can't ride in a flag! Get Kid to buy you more cycling kit.

Who is this Mandy? Seems like you guys have met someone I haven't. Maybe I do need to plan a trip out south sometime. SBR is part of the north because I annexed it! smiley36.gif

Andy times are tough, remember my mother doesn't pay maintenance so i only get half the kit!!!!!

Valentines day seems to be a good day to come south, especially since your GF is overseas(apologize if I'm wrong). I'll bring a mirror with can introduce you to Mandy, quiet a funny character.

I still think you like to suffer' date=' hence the hills... [img']https://assets.bikehub.co.za/legacy_images/smilies/smiley2.gif[/img] And thus me expressing what I think

Yep, I do want to do more MTB than Road this year, so I'll be joining Nancy for an out of the province experience out west on the MTB tomorrow at day break. A kewl 1300(polar)-1350(garmin) meters of vertical ascent smiley8.gif

IF that did not turn my legs into rubber, I'll join you guys for a roadie ride down south [the day after]smiley20.gif tomorrow. It might only be the short loop, but I'm aiming for the long loop

Gotto go find those running shoes now. Need them for tonight

Aaah, so you are having to where a flag for the other half? How aero is that? Doesn't the flag wave around in the wind?

I really wish I could but unfortunately I will be spending the day in the classroom learning bookkeeping. Besides, you should be spending the day with a GF, not playing with mirrors!

As a funny aside with Valentine's Day. A few years ago it fell on a Wednesday and at varsity in that particular year on Wednesday evenings we had Private International Law lectures by this professor from Holland. He started the lecture with these words, "As today is Valentine's Day, we will deal with divorce." The whole class just burst out laughing!

I don't like to suffer. I am just better at suffering than some other people.

Wow, you going to be in two places AND turn back time! Please tell us how!!

Doesn't tend to wave around too much. Although you do need to get up to a certain speed for the wind tot even start waving the flag.

Bookkeeping on a Sunday? I enjoy accounting but that really is of the extreme. Women are extremely temperamental and indecisive, why waste a Sunday on whining when i can be out riding.

My maths teacher once taught us this year how women are evil, mathematically proven. I thought this was brilliant. Glad to know that some teachers/professors still have a sense of humour.
