GreyOwl' date=' I've heard a rumour of a MTB hanging in your garage.... When you going to go for a spin around the Zoo Farm?[/quote']

Oxman you definately heard wrong!!! It's in his bike room not his garage!!!

Busted GreyOwl!!!smiley36.gifsmiley36.gifsmiley36.gif

But it doesn't mean he ever rides it smiley36.gifsmiley36.gifsmiley36.gif Its all part of a conspiracy of his! The more mountainbikes he owns... the less there are for others to ride! smiley36.gifsmiley36.gifsmiley36.gif In turn doing the country a huge service by keeping everyone clean smiley36.gifsmiley36.gifsmiley36.gif

GreyOwl' date=' is this true? [img']https://assets.bikehub.co.za/legacy_images/smilies/smiley3.gif[/img]

It is such a waste. Pretty much like buying a racing horse, and then turning it into a show pony. MTBs are made to be ridden, not to be bragged with in the bike room. Just ask Queen Bree!

Come on, if Mr Pavlov can win some MTB races surely Lord Henderson can ride a MTBas well !!!???

Very True indeed! I even have an mms on the "infamous bike room!"

It's not there as a bragging point however Ox-Man. Its clearly chained there with its wheels welded fast so that it'll never see a meter of riding! I think it's a warning to any other mountainbikes that cross Lord Henderson's path...

This is going from weird to bizarre. Lord H into MTB bondage?

I heard he used his powers of persuation and other tools, such as his smiley35.gif image and got bound up by Megan Fox!!!

Dunno 'bout 'racing', but I'll be doing the Carnival race... Somewhat apprehensive about it though. Compared Carnival 09 to Berge en Dale '10(BnD) and seems like speeds (for those who did both) are ~20% faster than BnD... Means I need to fly at my fastest pace EVER just to kinda break even...

Guess I'll know on Sunday? smiley2.gif

Ha ha ha! I'm pretty sure you'll cope just fine Ox-Man! I want to race really bad but hey! Next month is another month smiley4.gif

Motoring along @ > 36km/h whilst being unfit, and with the bike still acting up after hearing GOv3 comment about her weight.. dunno man, really dunno

Hahaha! Seriously won't be that bad! You can do it! smiley20.gif

Just stick with the group and it'll be a piece of cake smiley20.gif Averaged 35km/h at the wet one with a group of 5. Bunch riding will be much better smiley4.gif

Os, you asking the wrong questions! You should ask Kieran HOW he knows about GO3's MTB bondage. Ok, wait, Kieran please spare us the details! We DON'T want to know!! Do not answer!!!

Os, you were in A for BnD. Ok, that had a couple of little bumps. Now you in B for a flat race. So don't give us that "not racing" story. We all know you will race!

We still on for our NORTHERN ride on Sat seeing as "undesirables" still want to put glass on the roads in the South. smiley36.gif

Starting early and 'racing' as in trying for a group win are different things. All I'm hoping for is a fast(ish) time. Will have to see whether that pans out though. Previous B times for Carnival are a tad intimidating!

Yep, I'm still on for the safe NORTHERN ride on Sat smiley2.gif It will be more about testing the equipment than doing a final leg test though.

CC is a fast race, you wont have problems posting a reasonably fast time. I estimate you can come in sub 2:50

What's with all this norf souf cr@p?

We are all cyclists and we have to stand together against the scourge of those who would rather see us injured than on a bike.

I refer of course to the motorists, particularly, those who live in the cradle area. (People that have cattle prods.)

The shall be no more division among the rank and file of the brotherhood of fellow cyclists.

We will all greet one another and be supportive of each others endeavours. Even the mud children of the biking world are our bretheren. No matter how doff and misguided they are.smiley2.gif

So who's racing what this weekend?

Enjoy and be safe out there guys. (And gals.)

Say, anyone know how WW (Wonder woman) is getting along. Been a long time since I heard from her.
