Dash.....  NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!  who am I gonna hang out with at the back now?  I really think you need to reconsider your position on this.  A week on the couch is definitely worth a couple of hours on the bike with us smiley4.gif

Im also out for the next two Sat, but come 21 March, would like to join you crowd, if you still have space.

Racing on the 22 M , so just an easy ride of loop would suffice on that day.

Thereafter we can start planning for April!!

No work lotsa play!

so managed to convince the others that i'l be a bit late for work on sat. i'm the medical cover for a mad bunch  cyclists that will be buzzzing on sugar, caffiene, and other substances not yet classified (hospital goodssmiley36.gif). so y attendance is vital ICE...

will ride from home and race GOv2 back home for a quick shower and just hope the legs are still working to push the car pedals!!!

Right you are the good Doctor.

The good stuff I refer to is simple. A glucose drip and vit B comlex jab. Now there is a performance enhancer for you that works Osman.

I think doc, that you should tell the dudes you work with to have the glucosedrip and crash-cart ready at the top of the steps at around 9 on Sat morning. I have an inkling I might be the one to test your powers of resuscitation after the old wise bird kicks my butt in. smiley36.gif

Tell em you may need help with the car pedalstoo, they might feel sorry for you and give you a bit of recouperation time as well.

I cannot think of one logical reason why I'm soooo looking forward to this jol on Saturday. Eish, now I know I'm certifiable.

will see how many drip sets and jabs i can get hold of. working on a drip stand that will fit on bike so can just have continuousflow of perfermance enhancing substancessmiley17.gif.

should be a cool ride, hoping to keep up, swimming taken over a bit for the waterpolo fitness, so hope the legs can still remember the burn...

Serious question here Doc. (I mean as in very serious)

Lot of controversy about whether (multi) vitamin tablets actaully work or not.

I'd like your opinion when you have some time.

Vit B jabs sure do work, but I'd rather stick to the Vit B Complex tablets thanks smiley4.gif

Lot of controversy about whether (multi) vitamin tablets actaully work or not.

I'd like your opinion when you have some time.

the truth is that 99% of the tablet is ends up in the toilet bowlsmiley1.gif.

if you have a decently balanced diet you will get all te vitamins you need. but they arnent that expensive' date=' so in my opinion its worth taking them, an i do myself. but get a brand that is well known and one thats specific for you, eg: sports, or age specific. as they will help replace what is usually lacking, eg after a 40km/hr race up the steps[img']https://assets.bikehub.co.za/legacy_images/smilies/smiley36.gif[/img]

vit B jabs do work if you feeling run down or have had sme major work stress, as its used up to make all those nasty stress hormanes that make the mood swing, but also the calming hormenos that get you back on track...

so in my opinion its worth taking them just for that 1% help its gona give you, espacially with the additives in food and the way the world diet trend is going.

that help?

My bliksem. Dude, I got lost at line 1. Simple, get on N1 from your house.

Take the N12 at Nasrec and stay on the highway towards Witbank. Take the R59 toward Vereeniging. After a few Km, take the Swartkoppies turn off and turn right into Swartkoppies. At third traffic light after you have turned, (First after going under pedestrian bridge), turn left into Hennie Alberts, At first traffic light turn right into Bracken City Shopping Centre.

Park car, unload bike, wait for hooglian biker in Panda Kit. We ride to Xumbugs together. Else you may battle to find parking for you car. I promise, you gonna battle to tow it behind your bike. Nes ons gemaak het laas keer ne.

Daasie parking by Xumbugs for cyclists nie, net daai malkop motor cyclists. smiley36.gif

I recon I know how to get to the FNB & Xumbugs like last time smiley36.gif, but above is the 1000 words to paint picture of the route we gonna/wanna cycle... Short question: Is the route (as described above) from Xumbug, back to Xumbug about 59km?

Sapso. Zachery what I was looking for.

Now there is definitely a marketing oportunity here.

If I had to buy specific vits, I'd need one for the aged and one for the sports people (oh and one for stress. And another to improve metal vitality. (Oops, you need a brain for that.)

So, what we need to do is come up with one that is specific for brainless, cantankerous old farts who ride bikes and are highly stressed at work.

So looks like we need to combine vit B, trace elements and other junk with prozak. That sounds like it should work for me.

Seriously, nice concise summary. Result, continue with present course of Nutri B (21 plus) and prozac. Re-introduce chillies to diet for vitamin C. (Helps to try and increase speed, specially when you have those sting-in-da-ring ones. (You just want to get away from it, fast). Add occasional blue diamond pill to improve circulation and other disfunctional equipment.

Chase wife around lounge for good long distance running training, taking care not to injure protruding member on coffee table.

Cool, soon I'll be able to do duathlons.
