D2D is a very tough race. I had to ride myself back into the front bunch twice.

 

Different races for different riders, don't worry too much about it. 2:41 is still very good.

It wasn't that bad.

 

Last years 94.7 we climbed 1100m (if I remember correctly), so it was a little longer & a little more climbing.

 

The good news is that I managed a 2:40 yesterday which in theory means that I should manage a sub 3hr at the 94.7.

 

And you know what else ??

We'll all be back next year for the D2D !!!

Glad everything is now clear to you Ferrous. Although kid made one tiny mistake and that I should ride in A, not elites.

 

At the rate Kid is improving he should be in elites next year!

Not likely to happen soon though. I cant even finish in the top 10/20% of the A field yet, so maybe another 12 months there will be better for me. If I take the dome result, this is what I would have finished.
