what?!?! Please don't leave me all alone with these roadies?!!! They keep pointing at the road and slapping their bums..... it scares me

  FOFLMFAO. The thing is, us roadies have a very limited attention span. (I speak for myself here before any of you get all heated.) So when the oke in front of me slaps his bum and points at the road, you can be sure I have just had a major adreneline surge and am fully awake and alert for at least the time it takes to point at the road and to absorb the information. Thereafter, I wander off to that far planet I call home until someone hoots or slaps there ass again.

The thing is, when someone slaps their ass silly, at least I don't need to go home, shower, change the clothes and wash the bike. But when they do that hooting thing.....

Hope my legs recover in time for Sunday. They are feeling a little abused right now and I still have a 30km commute home. Going over Munroe again this arvie. I recon with the rain we had, the visibility should be awesome. May stop just to take a pic or two again. :)

See ya Sunday Andy. Looking forward to seeing you again. It's been a long time. Ox and Nance as well.

Oh, BTW. Delgado is joining us on Sunday too. :)

Enjoy the Climb! It's all in the climb! :D

Yes, I think January was the last time, when we went to the Circus after the SBR ride with Kid and Ha Ha.

Safe trip and OFM to Trubie! We expect a win! ;)

Seems like I'll have to dress up for this! Will don the Carb king shirt, also to keep a bit of MTB perspective ;)

I'll be there... weather permitting

and no, I'm not a fair weather cyclist.... I just don't trust that thing with skinny wheels on the wet roads.

then I'll rather go out on the MTB. Or better yet, sleep in ;)

You can't sleep in. Impossible to call the weather in da souff from da norff. You'll just have to go and take a chance... who knows, maybe breakfast/coffee in da souff on consecutive weekends?

True Agteros. What time does Broken City open if it is hailing? :P

Even impossible to call the weather in the north from the north. I live a few km from the school I went to. Back in my school days we would be having waterpolo practices and matches in sunshine and at home there would be a storm.

Sounds good! Be safe in Bloem. Watch out for the Cheetahs.

Weather was also great here on the N1 Spruit. Quite busy today. Had a great ride with Nance and another rider. Also overcast but dry and no wind. After going round Emmarentia when rejoined the Spruit. This young boy comes flying past and cuts infront of Nance in the small gap between her and the other rider. I thought it was a bit on the close side. He then rejoins the single track and almost crashes into oncoming riders. His back wheel catches the side of the small single track rut and he gets a bit wobbly. I ride up next to Nance and say to her, "I wonder how many times he will bail today." I didn't notice his mother was behind me though and realised after she called out to him to not do anything stupid. 200m later there is a small narrow bridge. This guy is on his stomach and his bike is in the water. The rider with us helps him up and with his bike while Nance stops on the bridge and I stop behind Nance. That was his first bailing. Luckily he was not hurt and hopefully he calmed down and rode more sensibly and less recklessly. But it was a great ride on the Spruit.

Dude, Andy has been cracking the whip this week.... I'm exhausted with all these 4h15 wake ups and hill repeats

I'll probably take a chance anyway so if nothing else I can have coffee with all you nut jobs ;)
