ANdy, Andy, Andy. Dude, you are still so young in so many ways. Do you need us old farts to draw you a picture?

She was insulted by your comment about her bike. ;) While it wasn't aimed at her bike specifically, you insulted the brand of bike she rides (and the group) and that's like bad news for the tender gender. You might have gotten a more favourable reaction if you told her the new shooz she just bought were fugly. Ot that her new jeans made her bum look fat. Seriously dude, bad karma. ;)

That you didn't directly insult her bike because you have one as well, is of ZERO relevance. Same with the group. So she's probably out shoe shopping right now to make her feel better. :P

The tender gender are emotional and logic plays no part in how they react to certain things.

BTW, you think I'm worried about HRH Queen Bree??? Big S has used up all his road bike time this year. By the time we get back onto the road again, no-one will remember my little indiscretion. Well, maybe I just speak for myself on this one. In ten minutes time, I will have forgotten everything else that has happend so far today.

Slave, I merely made a comparison between my aluminium Trek and my carbon Specialized. An aluminium Cervelo and a carbon Giant would have been the same. But oh well, C’est la vie, Se on elämää.

And who might you be Bug S? Oh, wait, I remember, you the hard core mother who is going to do some serious MTB stuff in the berg this weekend.

Hat, coat, outa gere. Going under cover and into some serious hiding, until I forget why....

I should be back in about ten minutes. :D

Unless Nance were to ask me to make an exception ;)

How about we organise these roadies some MTBs and take them up Breedts Nek?

Slave, Kid what say you?

Ok, so by my calculation this should be the 7000th post.

oxman, I say you're certifiable. Crazy man, just plain crazy!

I might just be crazy enough to take you up on that one day. When I am grown up. (And we all know that is never going to happen. BWaahahahahahahahahaha)

I am sure Kid thinks you're crazy too. Roadies on MTB. Pfffffft.

Thats even funnier than the Noah joke I sent you all earlier. Thanks, I have had a few good laughs today.

Andy, young son. You are not only a daft roadie that likes climbing but you are also known to flirt with these unsavoury sorts that ride those funny looking offroad bikes.I think your opinion is also subjective.

No, I still have it. Rode on the Spruit with Nance on Friday and Saturday. Quite enjoyed it actually.

I was referring to Breedt's Nek been an excellent idea!

Btw: Congrats on getting the 7000th post Agteros!

Now we talking my kind of riding :) - maybe something special for early December (after 24 hour?)!

Was gonna say I can lend the tall guy a bike but he needs a farm gate :(

   Or a long seatpost.

I say bring it on. Pain can only last so long. And last I heard cowboys cyclists don't cry. Especially not in front of their horses cycles.

You see BB, I rest my case. Only nut jobs do such hard core stuff as the 24 hour, Sabie, SANI to sea, JHB to sea. Epic. Need I say more. I mean, I must say I admire you all for this insane dedication,  but I'm hoping my cycling days will be done before too much permanent damage is done. Being dropped on my head as a child was enough to turn me into a sometime fairweather poefter roadie.

Maybe this is the long term effect of riding too many miles and spending too much time in the saddle. Your brains have been starved of Oh2 and you gone all crazy and went offroad.
