That toy ride is slow and only a few km. Then on Sunday it is an easy ride to build on base for next year. You could go with Kid and Trubie but I think that might be worse for you. ;)

what is this all about?

thought you doing the TT with Kid and me?

Hummy is also supposed to do the TT?

The TT is one of the options. But also wanting a good 70km or so. Not all of it fast. So another option is the TT and then a longer slower ride afterwards.

Ya TT and then longer ride is better me thinks

you can go back to Xumbugs and do Bosco

The Helivac Marshals will be keeping the cyclist safe at the Toyrun Cycle fun ride.

To all the ALberton South Riders, thanks for making us part of your ride. Although we are only able to help out two Saturdays during a month, we plan to extend that into every weekend into the new year.

Hello all! Thank you for the birthday wishes. I see you all had good times at the 94.7! Well done to you all. I have been away and that is why i have been so quiet mr Slave! Good to be back. :P

Weslcome back princess. Your absence has been duly noted. No leave form, no word, you just disappear for a couple of weeks and leave us all wondering if you have been abducted by aliens or some junk.

Are we finally going to get to meet you this weekend? Or anytime soon?

@Jasper. Thanks for all the support from Hellivac and fromyour marshalls. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say your presence is appraciated.

I will look out for you on Sunday and try to get your mobile number. This is because I see you supporting the first bunch that leaves Xumbugs, while the second slower bunch go around the loops un-escorted. I realise that you cannot possibly be in all places at all times but if we have a number, we can summon help if it is needed (In case of a crash or some other emrgency.)

It is my understanding that during the holiday period, the bunches ride out of xumbugs at about 7 every day. (It was pretty much like that last year so I assume it will be the same this year.)

Leave form?

I am riding this weekend mr slave, but i will not be riding with you guys. as i told Trubie i am going to be joining another group that has some ladies in it and i am considering joining their club. If i see you guys i will be sure to say hi although there are many tall guys on treks!

Yes, leave form. Document THSA Team ASGR leave form. To be completed in triplicate and submitted to panel one week prior to taking leave. The panel will advise if leave is approved. :P

'sa matter Princess, we no good for you? :( The ladies in the scoial group AKA Mona, too much for you to bear. Ahh, I get it. There are no "ladies" riding in the Alberton Groups. Just commoners. :P )

There are many tall guys on Treks? In the ASGR team? And they all wear Blue Panda Kit?

Damn, those frikking clones have been out on the loose again. I shall have to have words.....

(I never noticed before PH. The only one I know taller than me is a really tall chap and I think he rides a green 'Dale. (Cannondale))

Andy, there are a couple of options if you go that way. My 105 Km route from home used to be doing the first part of the short loop, then turning right (as they did last weekend) then riding through Klip River, turning left and going past SBR. Turn Right and head back towards Meyerton and then turn right for Henley on Klip, back to Alberton. Like I said about 105 km.

That's just one option. One can ride all the way to Meyerton, turn around and come back. If one heads straight down that road, it leads to the circus which is just north of Henley.

Many permutations my friend. ;) And each option has a different distance.

Kid and I used to meet last year and go straight down the steps, turn left past SBR, then turn left and go through Heidelberg then head back home. I think that one was about 108.

Best ride though. Meet at Broken City, ride to SBR north gate, do one lap SBR (full) and then ride back. Give you about 120 km of some serious riding.
