You still going to do the 24hr MTB ride ?

Is the Pope ..... do bears .... YEBO!

It is already way better and the Doc suggested 2-3 days (from yesterday) and it should be fine, taking anti-inflamatories (sp?). Will go for an easy ride tomorrow and Sunday just to keep the legs moving. All in all probably not a bad thing this forced easy before 24 hour ;)

Sorry but the plan for 2012 is to ride from JHB - Maputo.

You do not have a MTB, so better to just go around JHB 5x on your road bike

Ok so tomorrow you do the TOY RUN with us

Then Sunday you do the TT followed by the Nampak loop.

Nice & easy weekend for you

Don't need a MTB, there's tar all the way from Alberton to Maputo.

You wanna join ?

Do not have a pasport, and going to LM is not a 'home coming' ride to me, would rather take the MTB and cycle from JHB to SCOTTBURGH. There might be tar, but is it rideable on a road bike? Just like there are tar roads in Mpumalanga... Maybe you go scout for us, and then come back with a full report?

Hey Trubie, what are you doing tomorrow morning? Extra special loop with the supersonic crowd?

I think I may try out a short loop with the faster group, If I get dropped (most likely scenario) I can fall back and join up with the slowpokes. Just as long as I don't go up the steps solo right? After two days of rest, my legs are feeling much better today. I just need to eat a lot so I have loads of energy for this weekends exertions. (No, they will all be on the bike. No chance I want to risk getting inter-costals from doing press-ups.)

Big S. That sounds like a wierd thing to happen dude. First time I ever heard of a inflamed inter-costal muscles. Perhaps a tad too many press-ups there mate? Or was it from deep breathing??

will most likely be yes sir

Count your lucky stars that it is outdoor then. 5 of every 6 times I'm on the bike, it is on the IDT betwix the couch and the curtain. the other times I have to make the most of what I can do... Double lappers, 200km....

We cant all be hardcore............ like Trubie who cycles every day

... some of us have to settle for a bit of group running, and cycling indoors.... :(

Oxman, how about I get hold of a taxi and a dog and come park the taxi in your lounge while the dog chases you?

At leaast that's a decent simulation of the road and may make this mind-numbingly boring task a little more interesting.
