Yo S2L...pity to hear he has lost the "fire" for riding. I wish I could make everyone fall in love with cycling!

I think the idea of the 'street walkers' is a really dodgy one dude! I've seen whats on the corners in Rosettenville...and its poop scary!

I think I'm gonna battle tomorrow...had the worst week of my life this past week...so my interest levels are not really there for tomorrow. But I'm gonna ride. Not sure of the times or the program...but I'll send you a PM/sms or even call as soon as I know.

See you guys tomorrow...

Ok, hub issues just killed my last response. Try again.

Spaso, I'm feeling a bit flat. Planned to rest, but maybe we can go for a slowpokes bunch ride. I can prob'ly manage that.

GOv2.0, that streetwalker dis-ting, is not for you dude, it's to distract the opposition. You need to keep your eyes on the track.

And anyway, what you doing in Rosettenville anyway? smiley13.gif

Maybe I can talk SO into coming with me and I'll get her to flash the opposition. That will definitely cause quite a stir.

GOv2.0.

Breezer wants to be a cyclist. He's just lazy. Of course he will claim that he has mortal wounds and thus cannot ride, but I know different.

He wants the result without the work.

Fortunately, not everyone loves cycling the way you do. Imaging how congested the roads would be if everyone cycled. There would be no room for me.

Slavey, I'm new to this whole cycling thing but I can tell you this much if Breezer wants to be a cyclist the last thing he should be is lazy.

I'm sure a pro cyclist spends many hours in the saddle, everyday.

You flat ???

Laziness and cycling don't work together. Good thing for him that he does not live back in the old days when you had to go out and hunt for food. He would starve.

Pro's, I dunno, aks GOv2.0. I know he will tell you he only got where he is today by application. Many hours of blood sweat and clusters (gears). Prob'ly a few tears too.

Flat, dude as in batteries are poked.

I went out for a 28 k ride yeasterday and it went well enough (as in, I felt OK while riding.) got home and the wheels are off.

My body is betrayng the mind. (The mind is the thing that feels youngest today). Ham strings are tighter than a bow string and I just want to sleep for three days.

Slave - fortunately you have a whole week to rest that tired body for the trip around the berg next weekend.

Get a multivit supplement from Marc, and make sure to not skip a day.

Take it easy for a day or two, and you'll be amazed at the results.

What you need is a challenging challenge , one that you can actually work towards, and achieve. The 2000k is fine, but you are a one man race now.

I would suggest, a race or two before the 94.7 to get you motivated in yr training now.

Check out Clab site for some races coming up in the next couple months...

Taking 21 Plus and Slow Mag. And have the odd B-co injection.

You think maybe the answer lies in average 145 k's per week for past 32 weeks.

Only time I "rested" was when I had bronchitis, just after the fast one.

Since Jan 2009, my average ride dist is 50.88 and I have done 44 rides during that time.

Biggest distance I ever did on any one year before was about 1600 k's back in 2001.

Since 10 Aug 2008 when I began my training, I have done 4842 k's.

Maybe, just maybe, tha's why I feel like I need to rest a bit.

So what's your opinion Hobson?

Nuwbie, I disagree.

What Slavey needs is to be re-charged.

I know a guy who know's guy who know's anothet guy who works for Eishkom and we can put some serious voltage through Slavey's body.

The body will become younger than the mind smiley36.gifsmiley36.gifsmiley36.gifsmiley36.gif

Seriously dude, listen to your body. It needs a rest so take a few days off.

Even the 900 year old Peejou could also do with a rest.

You & Breezer can chill together.

Hahahahah Kid. Eishkom have no electricity dude.

Nada. Niks, soos in fokol. Why you think they telling you to save 'lectric.

Everyone else in businesstoday want youto use more of their product. Eishkom want you to use less.

Hahahaha. They couldn't provie enough 'lectic to makea glo- worm glow.

Heeeeeh ahahahahahahaha. Whoooo hooooo hahahahahaha.

So I "rested" this weekend. Call it lazy or whatevva but it was great.

Went to go watch the Old wise bird fly around the track on Sat and he won his 1500 event. Well done there mate.

The Ox took some pics and if we ask nicely, I'm sure he'll post some of them.

Not sure what you (Gov2.0) told the teeny, but when we got home, he pumped his wheels and we took a nice relaxing ride around the hood. A whole 4.5 k's but looks like some of the desire to ride is back. Time will tell.

I am in for Sunday.

We can prob start at 6:30 from Dischem.

I did a nice hilly ride on Sat , just over 83, and a quick loop yesterday morning before church.

It was fast and my legs are hurting like hell today.

Will go do a 20 with the missus the afternoon. Nice and easy, sub 20k/h!!!!!!!!!!!

Dudes, just for the record, winter is fast approaching. Although I did not ride yesterday, it was cold and windy.

6:30 is going to be darkish and cold. Is julle mal? (Sorry, rhetorical question.)
