CSA licensing.......I need help!!!!

Ok, now I?m getting p!ssed off!!!!!

I?m trying to renew my license on the CyclingSA website. I do the CSA waltz of step1, step2, step3?.

On step one it tells me that there is no info to display, so I go to step2, where I choose the ?racing? option and at the top of the page it says that I owe R165. After I click accept I go to step3 and then it tells me that I owe R110?HTF is that possible????

 

Can someone please help me!!!

Similar problem.  Selected an additional license card so total should was R195.  When I came to pay, the total was R165!!!  MYRACE were kind enough to send an email saying I have paid, but not the amount I have paid....

Go figures.....

 

We will all be sitting in March 2009 bitching about CSA that hasn't sent out our liksense in November when they had to....

Had something similar - I just blindly kept clicking on Continue.  Eventually when I got to insert my credit card details I had the right balance of R165.

However, I do notice now when I log in to MyRace it says payment outstanding eventhough the payment has already cleared on my credit card.

The myrace system isn't perfect by any means - but as someone who's been in IT for a decade - a system like that is far more complex than the average user will ever phantom.  The licensing is a huge improvement over last years'.

yes, its more complex than the average user will imagine. however, its also not the most complex business system out there. I know of way more complex business systems put together in much less time. mission critical stuff, where mistakes arent tolerated

With all these hassles of applying online, would a better option be to download the forms, fill them in and post it to CSA with a bank guaranteed cheque? Or should I take a chance and apply online?

Do it online. The problem with forms is that someone has to capture that data, and errors will slip in. You're email / cell number is verified when you do it online, and you will be able to update it yourself.

Agree as long as it works. How did they get the contract and who else tendered. Sure Cyclelab would have had it sorted in no time.

How long does it take to go from step 2 to step 3 in the registration process? I have been waiting for the E-mailed access code for half an hour.

Try the cellphone verification.... there has been issues with certain ISP's like MWEB were the message has been delayed for hours.
