Hi All

I hope that someone will be able to help a newbie cyclist out.

I have been given a set of "look keo sprint" pedals with black cleats, but for some reason the cleats dont seem to "fit" into the pedals. I have checked and the cleats are look.

Do I perhaps have the wrong size cleats... Do I need a certain type of cleat for these pedals?  I have had a look on the web, and the "look cleats" all seem to be the same, they dont seem to be any different!

I have been to my lbs and the one guy said the cleats are too big, an at the other shop they said the cleats are fine and I just need to stamp down hard on the pedals. ( needless to say this did not work)

So anyone that will be able to assist me with this will be much appreciated

WOW thanks for the fast responses..

Is there anyway I can check to see if the cleats are delta? (They really seem do seem too big for the pedals when I try line them up)

After looking at the pictures,  am 99% sure i have delta cleats. So it's of to the LBS for the proper thing.

Once again thanks for all the help

Pretty pathetic that TWO bike shops couldn't assist you (a newbie) with a basic thing like that. Even the guys at Cajees know there are two types of Look cleats.

Slick you'd be surprised how many don't know that there's a difference.  Had the opposite situation happen at the beginning of the year - took my shoes in for the LBS to put on new cleats and they put on Keo cleats instead of Delta.  Without checking I went off to do the Ride for Sight - was a harsh ride with my shoes lifting up everytime I pedalled LOL  Thankfully they replaced them when I went back so v1nc3nt you should be fine to have them exchanged.

I had the same thing. Three different shops gave me the wrong cleats for my KEO's.

So I had to buy 4 sets of cleats before I got the wright thing.
