Hello all,

Heard a rumour that the innards on some of the 2007 Fox forks is exactly the same as the 2008 line [forgetting for the moment the 2009 line]...

I can get a good deal on a brand new 07 Fox F80 RLC - want to know if it's worth it, or should I rather look at the 08 range?

Any advice?

Ps - always been a Reba man myself - reviews of the RLC seem pretty decent? Anyone have one - are they decent forks?

have a 2007 rl80 fox and have absolutely no problems at all.

very very solid shock indeed.

Thanks Captain!

Is there a difference btw the RL and the RLC? If so - what?

Do you know anything about the innards in the 2007 and 2008 range?

The RLC has adjustable low speed compression damping. And I very much doubt they would have changed the damper system, AFAIK it's mainly changes to the lowers and brace. But check www.foxracingshox.com. The archive section will tell you what's what.
