spano Posted December 22, 2008 Share I use the edge 305 and I love it, the only thing with the garmin is that it needs charging, while I dont think the polar has that "problem" so when you are doing a stage race, just make sure you have something to charge it with! but if you're only " a social rider" I'd take the garmin,, (it can be used for much more than cycling aswell) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've had like 4...Sold them as I got the a new model. Never had any issues...Only replaced batteries. I use an Edge 705 and like it a lot. No issues yet... It will come down to personal taste.
