JuicyUltimate Posted December 23, 2008 Share Anyone who has ridden a KTM motorcycle in their life will have respect for this photo. More info at http://www.dirtbikebook.com/acatalog/info_128SCOREPRESTIGE.html It's called the KTM Score Prestige, bit of a daft name for such an awesome looking bike. Looks like at the current exchange rate it will put you back about R80 000. http://i513.photobucket.com/albums/t331/scheepcharl/ktm_mtb.jpg

Dirtbreath Posted December 23, 2008 Share http://jowettscycles.co.za/files/images/Specialized%20S-Works%20Enduro%20SL%20Carbon.jpg You seriously think these frames are similar?Maybe I lend you my glasses. Beautiful bike but definitely not worth that kind of cash. Token, what happened to KTM mtb in SA? They used to sell from a shop in Paulshof. Dirtbreath Posted December 23, 2008 Share more like the new yeti then that spez Nope, Yeti's have a dogbone mounted to the top tube. If its a Soez you are comparing it to then more likely the new Epic.
101SCC Posted December 23, 2008 Share Sorry, abit disappointed. All bikes are basically the same now, before I get lambasted I'll explain... Carbon Duel Sus (individual)Fox Rear Fork (Common)80mm Front Rockshox / Fox (various common)Ritchey WCS Stem, Bar, Post Combo (common)XTR (Common)Wheels all pretty standard as well Mavic SLR / Shimano XTR, Olympic etc So the only area I see these bikes as different is in the tube shape and paint job... Wish for the days of custom builds, alas, the natural inflation of all things bicycle has destroyed this concept. I remember, (not long ago) choosing every part of my new bike, made by specialists in each catagory, now it's just off the shelf.
