Could anyone who uses a SLX RD please check for me whether this bit is supposed to be bent like this? It shifts okay so its probably fine but I just want to make sure. This is all part of the aftermath of a Majic Forest night ride...what a stupid ideaDead

Feel kinda daft asking as I'm sure it's fine, but I'd rather get an answer from a fellow hubber.

Yup all looks OK..... Shadow rear derraileur runs in the shadow of the cassette to "protect" the derraileur.. The critical portion is your hanger or dropout above the derraileur and where the derr is attached. That looks very slightly offline (could be the photo???). If your shifting is still OK and nothing has changed you should have no worries.????

PS  why is your bike so clean..... are you a roadie or a MTBiker????????

can I throw a spanner In the works here...

Im having endless *** with the cable end going into the cassette on My XT shadow..  bloody little bugger, I keep cutting mine short which makes it a pain to ajust If I need to. sometimes I double it up on itself and put a cabletie around it.

I dont know If its just the long grass and stuff Ive been riding through, Anyone else having the problem?

Just grab some long nose pliers and bend it out the way. Dont leave the end too short.
