hi guys two months ago bought a bike. i'm cycling jst about 15km everyday, the first few days were tough, but its all good now,jst little pain here and there during the ride, but nowadays i feel like its pointless and that i should up the distance to about 25 km everyday and this new route has a 3 km hill climb....so guys should i or should i not?mind aswell that i'm a beginner and that i havent cycled alot during the festive season......one thing,is having a adjustable handle bar or neck a good thing in terms of setup, thats the reason i bought the bike???

The important thing is that you ride every day. As you get fitter you will be able to up the distance and fill the time available.  Once a week, (weekends) try to double the usual weekly ride. You will be surprised at how quickly you will get fit. You also will be able to do the more challenging routes.  Time available : I usually will have about 1hr 30 minutes ride, so about 40km.

An adjustable stem is fine for your first bike, once you have sorted out a position you can get a fixed stem.

why did you start cycling???

you may have many of your own reasons, but one of the main reasons for most people here is cause its FUN!!!

just keep it that way, you'll know when you are ready to upgrade on the distance..

Every minute you spend on the bike is precious, enjoy them all, ride for yourself and within your ability and you will enjoy it for years to come and make some good friends in the process
