She wants to know from me if the electric connection will be compatible with SA . In other words , can u take the machine out the box and use it in SA straight away ? I know the plug will have to be changed , but what about voltage etc ?Thanx for advice .

Mutt Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 I think your biggest issue is the region coding and the NTSC vs PAL thing although most tv's nowadays can do both. To be honest I would probably not import one from the us.

masood Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 The sony playstation 3 would be better as game are region free. you may need to get a new power supply unit, but i think most come with a switchable input voltage
