I bought a similar design one this weekend, but before I fit it to my car, I am going to get the 3M laminate that they use to prevent stone chips on the front applied to all the contact points of the car. I was also advised to use a cloth between the rack and contact point. So that should take car of the scratching and rubbing issues.

Plenty other bicycle shops to absorb the staff. Infrastructure? what infrastructure? You telling me if they closed cycling would come to an abrupt end? I think not there will always be someone else to take their place.

No seriously we all go to work, but we have to work damn hard, else there will be someone else to replace us. Why should it be any different for these retailers? Just because they decided to open a huge Fancy store in a highly overpriced area doesnt mean the man in the street has to pay for it. Its about time we all realize that there is no such thing as get rich quick.

I hope they get fined so badly, they have to close shop. Will teach others not to mess with the free market principle. Will also give the smaller LBS a better chance.
