Campy gear service

I bought the new Campy Chorus 11 speed group from my LBS who switched it out for my Dura Ace. I then proceeded to injure myself (off the bike) and could not ride for 3 months.

 

My first ride out with the groupset was fraught with gear issues:

I cannot change to the large sprocket on the rear cassette

Shifting to the big chain ring is a hit and miss affair, only works when holding the shifter in all the way through the change.

Chain rubs on the front mech.

 

I have played with the barrle adjustors and limit screws but have not managed to improve things much.

 

I am looking for a good mechanic in Joburg who can set the gears correctly.

Perhaps I'm reading incorrectly but you dont exactly say who set up the new group, you only mention the LBS switching it out, not setting it. If I was you, I would take it back to them and ask them to look at it first.

The LBS set it up, I dont really trust them to sort it out, so want to look elsewhere

Go to Westdene.  They did my 11sp with no issues.

Westdene is good I ride campag as well and never had a problem with the gears

if you dont mind driving Wikus at FPC in pta sorted mine out just fine!
