I'm always looking for advice. (At least I read the answers and take to heart)

Embarrassed

So this time it has to do with shoes. I use Shimano spd pedals, both on the mtb and Road, with the same pair of shoes(olympic mtb's). Based on a lot of the answers on my ITBS thread, MTBers don't seem to battle as much as roadies. Should I change my road shoes and pedals to something more "road specific" and, if so, is Zero float better and what is zero floatLOL. Also what is a good budget-priced setup ?Please !!! Thank you!!!

I don't thinks it is the shoes but bike set-up. MTB'q Q-factors (distance between pedals are greater and more comfortable the road bikes. On my road bike I moved the cleat inward as far as possible to give me the widest stance possible, and it helps so that my shoes don't rub against my crank arms.
