Old Dog Posted February 8, 2007 Share Road works lasting for 4 months are due to start on the section of the Tygervalley road where it meets up with Racecourse road. (The part that wasn't finished 2 years when the money ran out!). Lengthy holdups with traffic are expected plus the inevtable stop/go man. Cyclists who just love to ride over Tikkiedraai would be advised to take an alternate route whilst the work is in progress! On the positive side, what is now a dangerous piece of tarmac is going to be widened and re-surfaced.
Brakkies Sport Fotos Posted February 8, 2007 Share But if you ride the dukwiel, you can still ride tiekiedraai but only turn off at D'aria ang go over the hills into magic forest. Ai, dis lekker om daai rooi grond te klim en elke tweede dag jou bike te was.

I do the loop twice a week and although early morning you cringe when using the little piece without the yellow line.
