chuck Posted February 3, 2009 Share It is easy enough to adjust the RD but for some reason I have a situation where on the middle 2 gears (8 speed) it seems impossible to get it to shift properly. Either it won't shift down properly or it will keep on jumping up under strain. Even the smallest tweak results in either of these two behaviors. What should I be looking at? Sacrosanct Posted February 3, 2009 Share You'd have to have 8 speed shifters for everything to work but i'm sure u know that. When last have u replaced your cables? Daxiet Posted February 3, 2009 Share I know you say the chain and cassette are in good condition, however how old are these items and are you sure there are no bent teeth on the cassette?
