Not all is lost though...... well ...... mr Cohen and Supersport Cycles will just loose my support. You can get Mavic A710's and DRC Rims as well as Sun Rhyno rims from places like St John Street Cycles http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/ and Bicycle Magic www.bicyclemagic.com

 

I am busy placing an order from Bicycle Magic now. The rims will be fairly expensive as it will be the only items I buy and postage is quite high.

 

 

Hendrik, erens is daar 'n fokapie. Ek weet nie wie meneer Cohen is nie maar Supersport Cycles voer DRC in. Hulle het 40-speed tandem rims. Ek het verlede week nog een bestel.

 

Mavic agente is Dragons Sports en ek weet hulle voer 40-speek Mavic tandem rims in. Ek het 'n maand gelede een daar bestel.

Thanx Steven...... did not know you were agents of Velocity. They have a good standing with the Tandem community. I had previous communication with Velocity in Aus when I asked for reccommended max mass on the wheels. Do you stock their hubs as well???????

Het gister met James gepraat. Hulle het niks in voorraad nie maar die container is in Durban en word afgelaai. Vanoggend my LBS gebel en vir hom gese hy moet vir my twee bestel. Later email gekry wat se daar is groot fout gemaak, daar is niks 40 gat wiele in die container nie.

 

Rep het ook vir LBS gese dat Mavic nie meer die 40 gat A719's gaan invoer nie want die Tandem mark is "te klein en te stadig"

 

Ek ken die Velocity rims maar ek soek eintlik die Dyad.

Thanx Steven, you do not stock the Velocity Dyad rims in 40 hole drilling?

 

Talking about the Shimano XT Tandem Hubs, I must still send you the serial numbers of the hubs on my Raleigh Tandem. I spoke to Colin about it previously. The freehub body was loose and eventally snapped the quick release and in the process seizing the whole hub. It was on a brand new Raleigh Tandem.

 

Will do that when I get to the Tandem again in RSA after 25 March.
