Die Oom Posted February 13, 2007 Share On the 99er in Cape Town on the week-end we were on a stiaght narrow stretch with no shoulder, about 30 in the Pelaton in quite close formation but filling the entire left lane. I was horrified to find a hugh petrol tanker overtaking us and hooting for us to get out of his way. This could have been a disaster. PPA should be made aware of these potential dangers and some action should be taken. The sad story of this life lost is a lesson for us cyclists. We need to be more carful and perhaps 'super aware' of the potential dangers on the road?
